2013 Mustang Boss 302r
This 2013 Ford Mustang Boss 302R is one of 22 built into race cars by Multimatic Motorsports in Ontario for the IMSA Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge. This example was acquired by the seller approximately 18 months ago and has been used for approximately 135 hours. Finished in white, the car is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 paired with a rebuilt six-speed Tremec manual transmission and a replacement rear axle. Modifications consist of adjustable coilovers and other suspension components, a tuned ECU, 18″ BBS wheels with Hoosier racing tires, a roll cage, a Recaro racing seat, a fuel bladder, and more. This Boss 302R is offered with recent service records and a Florida bill of sale.
The body is finished in white, and the left rear quarter panel was refinished after contact with another car at Sebring in February 2019. Tow points are located front and rear, and holes for previously-mounted hold-down pins remain in the vented hood.
Silver 18″x10″ BBS wheels are shod with Hoosier racing slicks. Braking is provided by recently-serviced Brembo four-piston aluminum calipers over two-piece floating rotors up front, performance pads all around, and recalibrated stock ABS. Suspension modifications consist of an adjustable front anti-roll bar, coilovers, caster/camber plates, and rear Panhard bar as well as urethane bushings.
The interior has been stripped and fitted with a roll cage and a Recaro racing seat with a five-point harness. The car is equipped with a Lifeline Zero-360 fire suppression system. Wiring for a communications setup is located behind the seat.
A suede-wrapped Sparco steering wheel rests in front of a modified stock dash with a carbon fiber center stack and an AiM Sport MXL data-logging digital instrument cluster that reads approximately 650 miles and 135 running hours.
The 5.0-liter, 32-valve V8 features revised ECU calibration, an aluminum radiator, and a separate oil cooler. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec 6060 six-speed manual transmission. Service in February 2019 reportedly included a valve adjustment and a transmission rebuild as well as replacement of the clutch, differential, and ATL fuel bladder.
A badge on the roll cage brace behind the passenger compartment shows that the car is the 21st produced by Multimatic Motorsports.
